Fruit Compote Breakie Croissant Rolls

Makes breakie for two lucky people 😉


  • Pack of ALDI’s croissant rolls – just using two (freeze the rest for another weekend breakie treat)

Fruity Compote;

  • 1 pack of blueberries
  • 1 pack of strawberries topped and quartered
  • Juice and zest of half a lemon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Ricotta Swirl;

  • 100grams of smooth ricotta
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Zest of quarter of an orange
  • 1 tsp sugar


  • Put the fruity compote ingredients in a pan on a high heat with the lid on for 8 minutes until the fruit has softened and the juicies are syrupy
  • Warm the croissant under the grill for 2 minutes each side
  • Mix the ricotta ingredients together
  • Spread ricotta on each half of the croissant roll
  • Top with the fruity deliciousness
  • Enjoy!
